Bethany is a passionate and dedicated teacher who loves nothing more than to see students set and accomplish new goals within their vocal skill set and see themselves improve their abilities and confidence.

 

With both a Bachelors of Music in Voice and Masters of Music in Operatic Performance and Literature, Bethany has thorough experience teaching voice to students aged 5 to adult having served as the voice faculty for the Ambrose University Music Studio as well as the private vocal coach for the Calgary Girls Choir and having taught one-on-one lessons since 2012 both in studio and privately from her home in beautiful Cochrane Alberta . In addition to her education and experience in the classical realm, Bethany is also well versed in the vocal genres of Musical Theatre, Pop and Folk. She strongly believes that a successful singer is a well-rounded one and encourages the study of diverse genres, styles and languages, teaching classically based technique that allows for success in all styles, and helps students build vocal skills, performance confidence and appreciation, passion and knowledge of the art of singing, all the while having fun.
